In May 2019, two individuals took on the challenge to run for the title of Honorary Mayor of Brandon
Angie Kagey Donelle White
Every dollar collected is donated to Brandon charities. These ladies assembled their teams and planned many fund raising events, inspiring the community to donate to their causes. Combined, this duo brought in over $55,000 during their 33-day challenge, from June 1st through 8 am, Thursday, July 4th. As a result, Angie Kagey was named 2019 Honorary Mayor of Brandon. Congratulations, Angie!
An awards ceremony was held in which the candidates delighted in presenting funds to their selected charities. Photos of the candidates and their chosen Non-Profits are shown below.
There was a large number of attendees at the check presentation. Many also came to receive their awards for winning their category in the Brandon 2019 July 4th Parade.
Congratulations to the candidates for their superior efforts, to all who made contributions, and for the positive impact the monies have made to Brandon charities.
